Stefan Blankvoort visiting the lab from Norway
Dr. Stefan Blankvoort from the lab of Dr. Cliff Kentros at Trondheim University visits the Cotney lab to learn ChIP-Seq in small amounts of brain tissue. He will be visiting during the months of April and May.
Jennifer VanOudenhove, PhD joins the lab!
Dr. VanOudenhove joins the Cotney lab after completing her PhD with Dr. Gary Stein at UMass Medical School and the University of Vermont Medical School.

Dr. Cotney receives R35 MIRA for ESI!
Dr. Justin Cotney awarded a new five-year, $1,993,750, grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences for his project entitled: “Unraveling mechanisms of genome regulation to understand and improve human health”.

Excited to announce I will be joining the faculty of the UConn Health as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Genome Sciences and the Institute for Systems Genomics.
