Jonathan Hudson

Rotation Student


Jonathan Hudson is a 1st year PhD student in the biomedical sciences program at UConn Health. Currently he is studying genetic developmental enhancers using CROP-Seq. He has his BS (Biology) from Xavier University in Cincinnati. In Cincinnati he worked in Jim Wells laboratory at CCHMC under the personal mentorship of Jorge Munera studying embryonic colon development and pioneering the generation of HCOs from human embryonic stem cells (hESCs)/iPSCs. After graduation he spent two years as the lead research associate in the Yacyshyn Lab C. Diff antitoxins using a tissue derived enteroid system. His currently research interests are still broadening during his rotations. In his free time he can be found trying to keep up with all the movie releases or spending time with friends or family.
